I don’t know why but my birthday always turn me into a very bad mood.

And I’m particularly pissed off today!

Ontario is really fucked up… and we may be paying the price for years! [Ontario Budget 09/10]

In A-Blurb on March 27, 2009 at 7:58 am

Since last nioght I’ve been hearing and watching news all around about the comin Ontario budget, the record deficit on it and how bad the things will be (or not, depending on who talks about it) for the next few years.

This is the kind of things that happen when you have a Prime Minister from another Province! (I just wanted to blame someone…)

Those F… ignorants from Fox News

In From other latitudes on March 26, 2009 at 8:22 am

If the world (and Canada in particular) needed a demonstration on how ignorants the guys south of the border can be, what happened the other day at Fox News was a good one.

I’m really pissed off! You do not joke with that specially when there are 4 bodies coming back! You ignorant jerk!

Wanna see the video? Move on…

One step at a time

In A-Blurb on March 25, 2009 at 8:32 am

Things are going good in the “new house” front. I was told yesterday that RBC and CHMC approved my mortgage application (which I ghad no doubt was going to happen… but you always want to hear it from someone else!) So, one step at a time, the house project is moving well.

One Stpe at a Time

One Step at a Time

What worries me is the get a job” front. Both for me and my wife. She’s strugglingto get a decent administrative job since last year and all she was able to get was call centre crap. I know a job is a job and you may get what you deserve… but I know she deserves better. She can get some other thing out of a call centre. I’m working with her on this and helping on her resume and cover letters and sending them during my downtimes. May be it’s a matter of patience. Let’s see.

More after the jump…

In A-Blurb on March 19, 2009 at 9:21 am

Last night I’ve bben at the house inspection. Nothing serious, it’s a 2005 after all! I just got myself a few hundred little chores for summer…. And I had to pay 400 CAD for them?! WTF!

Where were we?

In From Everyday Life on March 17, 2009 at 11:07 am

Oh! yes! Sorry about that!

What a week! What weekend! What a day! What a night!

Days are getting shorter for some reason. They start early in the morning, breakfast, kids drop-off, work, kids pick-up, snack, dinner, sudden death on the coach while TV is still on. And that’s it. Sh..! I need a new life!

March Break and early teens… Or whatever the name is for an 11 years old behaving the same way I bvahevd at 14! WTF is wrong with this kids? What amuses them? What do yo do with them? There’s no activity that pleases them more than the PlayStation! You spend money in a camp, they do not like the camp. You ask, they don’t know. Everytime I think I was like him… At least I can prevent the outcome!

Hoem Sweet Home

Home Sweet Home

We nailed it! Yep! We finally got an offer accepted for a beautifull townhouse in Kanata. It was not easy… tough negotiation. But here we are. Now my to-do list grew a 200% percent. If I have a cardiac arrest in the meantime, you may know why.

American Idol: They are so f… obvious!

In A-Blurb on March 11, 2009 at 9:16 am

We enjoy TV. It’s our relax time after dinner and when trying to relax before going to bed. Every day has its own show. Mondays are for House, for instance. Or Fridays are for Flashpoint. Thursdays, no doubts, CSI. During this past few weeks, and for the next few weeks, American Idol will have its own air time.

Bunch of Cheaters!

Bunch of Cheaters!

It’s that we like good singers. We like following some good prospects. We follow some guys with special interest and we even compete with each other with Pat based on our preferences. For instance, last season or the previous one… that girl Melinda Doolitle… What a hell of singer! But she lost… American people is so special! Even if Simon Paula and the others really show their preferences sometimes it cannot help.
